Friday-Ad group has over 60 websites, including a number of leading UK and European classified and recruitment websites. We’re looking for a dynamic and creative SEO apprentice to help to drive our portfolio of digital businesses.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to work closely with our website managers to ensure we apply SEO best practice across the group. You’ll be keen to learn off the SEO experts to help implement and develop new methods, tools and procedures to ensure they we are constantly improving on our SEO rankings both in the UK and overseas.

We will provide both in house training and the opportunity to visit and learn off experts within the field of SEO, within the UK and Overseas.

Summary of Role

You will be involved in a wide range of search engine marketing activity for the Friday group websites. Key duties include:-

- Onsite and offsite optimisation
- Keyword research & optimisation of meta data – page titles, page copy, keywords, header tags
- Research and testing of alternative advertising platforms e.g. new search engines, social sites etc
- Link building strategy, activity & planning
- Work closely with all our website development projects to ensure that we apply best practice SEO in developments
- Creation of PPC advertising campaigns and activity schedules to meet specific demands and seasonal opportunities e.g. traffic acquisition, product sales, supporting sales activity
- Monitoring and reporting of PPC spend and ROI
- Extensive analysis of traffic and site usage using Google Analytics

Requirements

You’ll be a strong technical person, who has a special combination an analytical head with creative marketing flair. Ideally you’ll have a good knowledge of search and you’ll be web aware. You will have good html knowledge and understanding about how websites are built and function. Above all you’ll have a willingness to learn quickly, try new ideas and the have drive to see them through. You’ll be quick to spot trends, and you’ll leap on opportunities as they arise. You’ll be continually keeping ahead of the game with SEO developments and industry changes by following the experts

Salary will depend on knowledge and experience. Good bonus structure.
