Job Description:
• Monitor and analyse website traffic, traffic sources, conversions and other significant metrics using web analytics software
• Monitor and improve ranking for specific keywords on search engines
• Regularly monitor inbound links, compile potential link placing opportunities in blogs, forums, directories etc and oversee link building activities
• Work closely with the web development team on website copy and tags to optimise for SEO purposes
• Give advice on user experience/usability issues
• Monitor and evaluate internal linking structure
• Optimize on-site text
Skills / Experience:
The Candidate
• At least 2 years commercial experience working client side or agency side
• Proven track record in SEO- must be able to demonstrate with reference to successful SEO campaigns
• Experience working across full spectrum of SEO techniques.
• Must be aware of all the latest SEO developments and methods
• Ability to evaluate, the best SEO tools on the market
• Experience using keyword tools and keyword analysis
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Relevant University degree (preferable; not essential)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent organisational / time management skills
• Good communication skills
