To plan, implement, track and optimise SEO campaigns for a range of websites across the internal and external client base, with a view to increasing conversions (leads and sales) and traffic / visibility in the search engine space.
To measure and evaluate SEO campaigns effectiveness vs. agreed objectives and targets.
To ensure full integration of SEO campaigns with other online and offline marketing campaigns / brand strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, develop and implement SEO strategy to improve ranking, traffic and conversion rate of our clients’ websites
- Identify and analyse key metrics and assess the performance of SEO activity, providing clients with written monthly reports and quarterly reviews
- Actively research, devise and develop new initiatives to improve search engine rankings
- Advise on any technical issues with clients’ website, website usability and design considerations
- Day to day client / account management via phone / e-mail / face to face
- Represent the company at industry events / conferences
- Create new business pitch documentation and attend pitches when required
- To be a key point of knowledge on SEO within the company, constantly keeping up to date on new trends / systems and methods, and reporting back to colleagues where necessary
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- A minimum of three years hands on SEO experience gained either client or agency-side to include:
- Technical SEO
- Copywriting
- Link Building
- On Site and On Page optimisation
- Keywords and competitors research
- SEO auditing
- Proven track record of delivering SEO results in competitive sectors such as insurance, holidays and financial services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Be active within the online SEO community
- A genuine passion for the web and social media
- Great working knowledge of Google Analytics, WebTrends or other analytics packages
- Good understanding of conversion path / user journey analysis process and ability to make actionable recommendations based on performance analysis
