A new opportunity has arisen that will allow some lucky candidates the chance to join forces with one of the biggest brands within the UK. You will be a key part of a new Digital Search division for the company working alongside a new search team, which already houses some of the best search recruits in the business.
At this point within the recruitment phrase, we need SEO executives to hit the ground running and to become the backbone within the new division. You don’t need to come from a client-facing background, although you will need to be the type of person that will naturally contribute to the success of the team. If you are the type of person who would rather hide in the background then this role will not be suitable for you.
The successful candidates will have a proven background in planning, development and implementation of SEO strategies for clients in multiple verticals. Possessing a solid working knowledge of HTML/XHTML, PHP, ASP, .net and CSS, the successful candidate will be comfortable in the analysis of code and possess a solid understanding of SEO fundamental principles.
Skills / Experience:
Other key accountabilities will include;
Comprehensive keyword analysis across The business’ vertical Categories
Production of keyphrase rich SEO landing pages for popular and niche search terms.
Analysis of anchor text links to strengthen “internal votes of confidence”
Construction of unique <head> copy for targeted pages including the <Title> tag, <Description> and <Keyword> meta tags
Identify “golden” keywords via analytics for new content creation
Assist in the development of SEO best practice guidelines and training where necessary
Conduct SERPS Ranking Reports as and when required.
Ability to source one way links from websites with a minimum Page Rank of 4/10
Thorough understanding of search engines’ SEO guidelines and latest SEO Techniques
Experience of optimising sites across multiple business verticals
Ability to exploit SMO (social media optimisation) opportunities including quality links from Video sites, news / media providers and social sites including Yahoo Buzz, Digg and Reddit
Emphasis on local search linking strategies, experience of Online Press Releases, Article Submission and RSS Feeds and to support the SEO Manager with all ad hoc SEO requests
Preferably up to 2 years commercial SEO experience from a leading Search Agency background desirable
