Job Description:
- Represent the SEO product in internal and external meetings
- Ensure the companies SEO offering is competitive and best in class.
- Day-to-day management of the SEO accounts/clients
- Project management of on-going deliverables.
- Thought leadership in all things SEO
- Help to deliver content on new business pitches and proposals
- Contribute to the recruitment & induction process; assist with search team appraisals
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Display leadership skills and qualities
- Maximise team members performance
- Contribute to a culture in the team that enables innovation and proactive work
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure best execution and outcome of efforts.
- Contribute to the development of search staff
- Contribute to the appraisal system
- Contribute to all team inductions
- Identify skills gaps of direct reports/members and source appropriate training
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- Along with support from SEO Manager act as senior client contact.
- Ensure client is confident in our services and quality of deliverables
- Ensure we are delivering required client service levels
- Attend meetings to give further insight where appropriate (monthly, quarterly, etc)
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Work to ensure that our SEO product is best-in-market
- Work to develop and pass on best practice of SEO process
- Work with the all peers in setting remuneration levels for all products
RELATIONSHIPS
- Develop personal relationships with all stakeholders at the appropriate level
- Maintain strong internal relationships with all staff members
- Ensure a close personal relationship with all direct reports and managers
Skills / Experience:
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:
- Marketing understanding (marketplace and consumer)
- In depth knowledge of SEO techniques & tools
- General awareness of SEO chatter and developments
- Knowledge of key trends in client and market media dynamics
- Financial awareness and understanding
