Creative, experienced and energetic search engine marketing (SEM) specialist required to join an expanding agency as a Senior Search Marketer.

Reporting to the Head of Search, this senior role within our search optimisation and marketing department needs in-depth understanding of major search engines and a brilliant track record of delivering creative and effective paid search campaigns. Due to new client wins and expansion of the scope of existing relationships, they are looking for someone with a mixed ONline background with a strong emphais on PPC to support this rapidly expanding business area.

Job Description:

The role would ideally suit someone with the required skills who is looking to move into a more senior position. The role will act as senior point of contact in the absence of the Head of Search, as well as supporting the search department’s workflow, managing your own client projects and distributing work to other areas of the team where necessary. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to have a desire for constant learning to keep up with ever changing web as well as help and support the team in sharing knowledge of new developments and ideas.

Skills / Experience:

Particular areas of your expertise will include:

Detailed experience of managing PPC campaigns within Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN Ad Centre
Experience of social media management and engagement on a commercial basis
Strong project management skills
Competitor research and benchmarking
In-depth use of analytics packages to monitor progress & indentify trends
Keyword research and analysis to target traffic heavy phrases and new opportunities
Making creative suggestions for new content, functionality or potential areas to leverage both on & off site
Ideally you will have previous experience of managing your own projects or a small team and will be ready to step up from your current position and develop your career.
