Job Description:

This position will be responsible for various pieces of paid and natural search campaign/keyword research & development, set-up, management, and reporting.  This is the “training ground” to learn and master search marketing and develop a search expertise that few ever obtain, with a primarily training focus for the first 3-6 months and a growing opportunity to work on several major online marketing campaigns over the first year.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Client/Internal Data Analysis (15-20%)

  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly results reporting
  • Specific testing and report analysis
  • Ad-Hoc client requests
  • DDS entering before the 10th of each month
  • Paid Search Campaign Development (70%, increasing over time)
  • Coordinate with team members to develop campaign plans and strategies
  • Develop, monitor and optimize keyword lists
  • Write client creative
  • Execute paid listing submissions
  • Assess and suggest appropriate landing pages
  • Perform client and industry research
  • Develop and monitor bid strategies

SEO Research & Implementation (15-20%, increasing over time)

  • SEO Research – Keyword, Industry, design
  • Create client-bound research and execution documents
  • Research and implement linking strategies
  • Implement various SEO initiatives

Software Usage

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products
  • Solid Excel/spreadsheet capabilities
  • Knowledge of campaign tracking software a plus, but not required

Skills / Experience:

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications and have 1+ years of work/internship experience.  Note: this is not a sales position and is computer intensive environment.

This person will also:

  • Be a proactive self-starter
  • Have a Marketing/Advertising background with a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
  • Possess general knowledge of direct marketing principles and strategies
  • Have strong organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Be confident in compiling & analyzing marketing data
