My client is a multi-million pound company with a global presence in their industry, based just 45 minutes south of Birmingham. They are a well established company and are part of a large American Corporation which consists of 120 smaller brands. Originally focusing on catalogue sales the company has moved forward dramatically and now have a major focus on the Ecommerce/Online side; with a $5 million dollar budget solely on e-business. They have focused on both B2B and B2C; and with more than 50,000 products this will offer a diverse and interesting role. Their marketing division consists of 20 people all with brilliant attitudes and brimming with confidence. The company doesn’t currently have any competitors due to acquisition however the dynamics and focus of the company compare to the likes of RS Components, ScrewFix, Premier Farnell etc. They have has a massive push on Ecommerce and Online which has resulted in significant growth and recruitment. There is now a requirement for an Online Marketing Manager to join their dynamic Internet Marketing Team.
Job Description:
The main role of the Online Marketing Manager will be to support the execution and testing of the online strategy. This will include Customer Acquisition, Conversion and Retention via a variety of Online Marketing Channels. The main focus of the role will be Email Marketing which will be 50%; therefore you must have a minimum of 2 years experience. You will also be responsible for liaising with the agency in terms of SEO and working alongside the in-house PPC Manager to ensure all delivery is successful.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing the email process from creation to execution in order to drive profitable email campaigns to both existing and new potential customers
Driving profitable customer acquisition from paid (PPC) and organic (SEO) listings at search engines, managing internal and external resources as required
Gathering and analyzing data through analytics programmes such as Webtrends
Reporting monthly and presenting this information based on E-Business activities
Create, execute and test activities related to online user experience (including content, navigation and website design
Skills / Experience:
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role; ideally working in-house with a company to be considered for the role. You must have a good working knowledge of current web technologies for analytics (ideally Omniture and Google Analytics), email (ideally Silverpop), and Pay Per Click (Adwords, MSN and Yahoo). You must possess a strategic, analytical mind-set as well as the ability to execute. They require a bubbly, confident individual with a passion for Online Marketing. Current staff there, are extremely ambitious and real go-getters so you must be enthusiastic and really looking to drive your career forward.
Rewards
Salary is dependent on experience therefore if you have a slightly junior skill set please still apply as you may be considered at a lower salary band. You will receive a brilliant package which will consist of bupa health care, bonus 8% (4% personal goals kpi’s set, 4% business), a great holiday scheme and regular incentives.
