My Client, a leading digital agency based in Central London is looking for a Head of Search to join their rapidly expanding, experienced team! With three experienced search visionaries at the helm, this dynamic and forward thinking organisation have experienced and maintain periods of growth month on month since formation at the beginning of 2009! Now with 19 staff in house and an extremely promising future this company will offer the successful candidate the chance to be part of something new, exciting and extremely profitable! With several specific business divisions, including; Online Reputation Management (ORM), Affiliate Marketing, Online Analytical Business Planning and Customer Acquisition you will be exposed to all aspects of search and as a result will have the opportunity to work with an extremely varied client base.

Job Description:

Managing a team of four, you will have the opportunity to drive all search activity across the group and will be an expert in your field. Responsible for Search Strategy in its entirety, you will ensure that all the latest techniques and technologies are being applied to all campaigns in order to ensure that the company exceeds all clients’ expectations! You will be extremely ‘hands on’ and be required to mentor and develop junior recruits. As a company the percentage split between SEO and PPC is quite significant, with the predominant focus being SEO (95%) and therefore the candidate must have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for all things Organic!! Your role will be varied and engaging having exposure to all the core aspects/service’s offered by the business. Skills / Experience:

A genuine Passion, Enthusiasm and Understanding of Search Marketing and Online Marketing
Experience working within an Agency Environment (the more recent the better) and running campaigns with CPC, CPA and SEO targets
Familiarity with Google, Yahoo and Bing
Excellent Communication Skills – the ability to effectively communicate SEO on all levels
Familiarity with Programming Languages (e.g. HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript)
Awareness of Web Technologies (e.g. XML, RSS, Ajax, Flash and Online Video)
Knowledge of Link Building/Best Practices/Social Media and SMO
Experience training and/or leading a team would also be of an advantage
