Our client is a reputable marketing agency based in Leeds. Offering a range of services, including brand development, press adverts, digital marketing and direct mail, they work with many leading household names. An opportunity has now arisen for an Account Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic marketing professional with an agency background, looking to develop their career with a company that works with blue chip organisations.
As an Account Manager you’ll be responsible for managing and developing client relationships and driving new business initiatives, whilst building client brands.
Joining the Client Services team, you will manage client projects from start to finish; ensuring needs are met and exceeded. You will also have the chance to drive proactive ideas for client’s accounts to add value and make sure our service is invaluable as an agency.
Your duties will include:
- project managing jobs, ensuring they are delivered to time and budget
- writing creative briefs using brand understanding, customer insight and market insight
- producing estimates and final costings on all work
- assisting in new business research, finding new leads and contributing to PR, articles and ideas
- maintaining an awareness of changes in the industry around data, print, digital, direct marketing etc
To be considered for this position, you must have marketing experience gained within with an agency. You will also need to demonstrate highly developed project management skills coupled with a creative approach.
As an Account Manager, you must also have good brief writing abilities, attention to detail and a broad range of skills including budget management, direct mail and print understanding.
The ideal candidate will also have a strong personality and will be up for a challenge – creatively, strategically and personally. Any digital experience would be beneficial.
